With Geography , composer Graham Fitkin creates a work that blends technology and poetry. Who hasn't dreamed of wandering through a city and discovering unexpected, original music, specifically composed for a particular street or building? For the urban explorer, equipped with a smartphone, a new app, and headphones, Geography offers a musical map of the city: the soundtrack to their impromptu stroll. As the walker follows their own route and musical journey, Geography composes the grand mix of the soundscape in which they move, turn, and listen .
