8:00 PM: The Contemporary Ball
Can you dance to contemporary music? For three biennales now, the Ars Musica Contemporary Ball has been answering this joyful and quirky question with a big smile! The evening will feature creations by Stéphane Orlando, pianist, composer, and improviser, known for his work in theater and film, as well as pieces by composer Judith Adler de Oliveira. Through electro interludes, Laryssa Kim, an Italian-Congolese singer and composer, will join them in this musical, danceable, and inventive adventure. Laryssa Kim's synthesis of electroacoustic and soul music is as original as it is captivating! Choreographer Luca Arrigoni will lead a dance performed by the Styx Wind Quintet… Festive and playful, the Contemporary Ball has become an unmissable event at Ars Musica!
